My Written for Valentine's Day...

This is my li'l contribution for Valentine's Day:

If ever there's someone right for you, please let them be me
If ever there's a perfect place for you, let it be where we meet
I just want you to see the good things in life you've shown without knowing
See how people had blurred vision but you brought things into focus
Converted the hopeless into the hopeful not the other way around
Intertwined time with the future and the here and now
Erased thoughts of doubt by giving gentle direction
Showing that there is a happy home for someone's affection
A genuine blessing, there's no question about it
The closest thing to perfection, I think I've found it
Even though searching wasn't something I was consciously doing
Now I'm granted confusion and won't try to elude it
So I've concluded my heart's best intentions now rest in you
Love is not the question but what I must show and prove
With this testimonial of matrimonial duties
Thank you so much for the touch of kindness you've given to me
